We're back on the county scene
For the last number of years Barrowhouse GAA club have been mourning the fact that various Laois teams have had success at different levels without any of our players being involved. But not anymore. 2006 and 2007 have seen a re-emergence of players from this club make onto county panels and teams. First and foremost has been Donal Kingston who made it onto the Laois minor team in 2006 where he was joined on the panel by Sean Langton and Ian Whelan. Indeed Donal and Ian are again involved in the minor which has just captured the Leinster minor title in 2007. Donal was also a sub on the U-21 team that got to ther All-Ireland against Cork earlier this year and was unlucky not to have equalised the match in the dying moments.
We also have had a number of underage players who have made it onto the underage development squads over the last two years.
So to one and all continue the good work lads and well done for putting Barrowhouse GAA back on the map.
